WhatsApp es una de las aplicaciones donde más datos guarda la persona al intercambiar constantemente información con sus contactos, a través de las conversaciones de chats.
Es por eso que cualquier cuenta de la aplicación de mensajería instantánea, se puede convertir en una mina de oro para cualquier hacker que tenga intención de intervenir la cuenta de una persona.
A pesar de los esfuerzos que ha hecho WhatsApp optimizando su seguridad y habilitando opciones que fortalezcan la privacidad del usuario, siempre quedan detalles que si no se toman en cuenta, se convierten en una vulnerabilidad del sistema.
¿Cómo evitar que te hackeen tu cuenta?
Existen varios mecanismo donde el hacker puede acceder a una cuenta de WhatsApp, a continuación te presentaremos tres situaciones donde debes estar más atento.
WhatsApp Web
Está versión de la aplicación se creó como una herramienta donde se optimiza los tiempos de las personas que se encuentran en su trabajo y desde el ordenador puede revisar los chats de conversación.

Aplicaciones APK
Es sencillo, si la aplicación no está disponible en la tienda de Android, entonces ya es riesgosa.
Para Whatsapp existen muchas aplicaciones no oficiales que permiten la personalización de la app entre sus funciones. Sin embargo, la persona que descargue este tipo de versiones debe tener en cuenta que no cuenta con la "aprobación" de la compañía detrás de Whatsapp.
El problema con estas app es que desconocemos cuáles son los reales daños que pueden ocasionarle a tu dispositivo o a tu cuenta de WhatsApp. Por eso la recomendación es ingresara:
Ajustes > Aplicaciones> Todas, luego desplazamos la pantalla hacia la parte en la que aparecen las aplicaciones que empiezan por la letra “W“. Aquí, nos fijamos en que la única aplicación que aparezca sea la oficial de WhatsApp; si vemos cualquiera aplicación adicional (“WhatsApp Espía“, “WhatsApp Spy” o “WhatsAppSPY”, por mencionar los ejemplos más habituales), procedemos inmediatamente a su desinstalación.
Mensajes sospechosos
Las cadenas son la herramienta perfecta para los cibercriminales que aprovechan la inocencia de las personas y oprimen enlaces de dudosa procedencia.
Para que un enlace pueda ocasionar realmente daños de hackeo, la persona debe haber dejado que un archivo se haya descargado automáticamente. No obstante, la principal recomendación es que el usuario sencillamente no abra ese tipo de mensajes que llegan a su smartphone, de lo contrario pueden desde hackear su cuenta de WhatsApp, hasta dañar su dispositivo móvil.

Suspicious messages
