Es así como surgió Collab, la nueva aplicación de Facebook inspirada en TikTok para poder crear videos cortos musicalizados y compartirlos en todos lados. Y aunque por ahora se encuentra en la versión Beta y sólo disponible para dispositivos iOS; Collab promete expandirse y tener el mismo éxito que TikTok.
¿Cómo funcionará Collab?
El principal objetivo de Collab es poder crear videos cortos divididos en diferentes fuentes e instrumentos; de esta forma se podrá tocar una misma canción con tres instrumentos y uniéndolos todos. O bien, colaborar entre amigos y familia para que cada uno forme parte de una de las tres partes.
¿Cómo probar Collab de Facebook?
Por ahora Collab se encuentra en desarrollo por parte de Facebook en la llamada NPE (New Product Experiment), en donde se afinan todos los detalles de la aplicación previo a su lanzamiento. Pero si quieres ser de los primeros en utilizarla deberás recibir una invitación. Para ello debes registrarte en este enlace y ser usuario iOS. Aunque cabe aclarar que las invitaciones son contadas, sin embargo no pierdes nada intentando obtener una invitación.

Facebook ha admitido que buscar hacer de Collab un fenómeno mundial masivo como sucedió con TikTok, esta vez centrado únicamente en la música. Más ahora que todo mundo se encuentra en casa y la opciones de entretenimiento se empiezan a agotar.
“El equipo de Experimentación de Nuevos Productos de Facebook está lanzando una versión beta solo para invitados de Collab; una aplicación de iOS que reúne a creadores y fanáticos para crear, ver, mezclar y combinar videos originales, comenzando con la música. Los espacios digitales pueden conectarnos cuando no podemos estar juntos en persona; y Collab es una nueva forma de crear juntos”, dijo un portavoz de Facebook.
