Si eres de esos usuarios que regularmente utiliza los mensajes privados de Instagram tal vez te interese saber cómo ocultar tus conversaciones en la red social, bien sea por razones de seguridad o porque simplemente no quieres distraerte con tantos mensajes que
llegan.
Aunque ocultar los chat de nuestro buzón de mensajes privados no sea de todo posible, lo que sí se puede hacer es desactivar las notificaciones de mensajes, que al hacerlo nuestros mensajes pasarán desapercibidos ya que la plataforma no nos avisará cuando recibamos algo de otro usuario.
¿Cómo desactivar las notificaciones de los chats?
Al estar en Instagram lo que debemos hacer es dirigirnos a nuestro perfil y pulsar sobre el menú de opciones con el icono de las tres líneas ubicado en la parte superior derecha de la plataforma. Al hacerlo, de inmediato pulsamos donde dice “Configuración” para luego seleccionar la opción “Notificaciones” y después escoger “Direct o Mensajes”.
Posterior a esto, en la nueva ventana se mostrarán tres opciones que deberás elegir dependiendo a tus necesidades, entre ellas está: “Desactivadas, Solo de principal y De principal y general”.
Al elegir “Desactivadas” pues entonces Instagram no te notificará cuando recibas un mensaje sin importar la categoría que sea, es decir, principal o general. Igualmente al seleccionar “Solo principal” estarías recibiendo notificaciones de esta categoría mientras que los demás serán ignorados por la plataforma. Asimismo, al activar la opción “Principal y general” pues entonces estarás recibiendo notificaciones de todos los mensajes que te llegan al buzón.

Likewise, by activating the option "Main and general" you will be receiving notifications of all the messages that arrive in your mailbox.
