A todos nos ha pasado. Escribimos algo en Twitter sobre un tema controvertido y se nos echan encima cientos de usuarios cabreados que no están de acuerdo con nuestra opinión. Hasta este momento, lo único que se podía hacer con este tipo de personas era hacer un bloqueo de cuenta para que no volviera a molestar. Ahora, el servicio ha integrado una nueva función que permite ocultar las respuestas. El funcionamiento es el siguiente:
- Accedemos a la respuesta a nuestro tuit
- Pulsamos sobre “ocultar respuesta”
- Aceptamos los avisos
De esta forma tan sencilla, la respuesta (en este caso inofensiva) quedará completamente oculta para ti y el resto de usuarios. Eso sí, podremos acceder a ella volviendo a pulsar sobre las opciones del tuit en el apartado “ver respuestas ocultas”. Aquí también podremos “dejar de ocultar la respuesta” con un simple toque.
La idea de todo este sistema radica en que los usuarios puedan controlar las interacciones que reciben sus publicaciones en todo momento. En muchos casos, las contestaciones pueden ser ofensivas, y la integración de esta funcionalidad puede mejorar ampliamente ese intento de concordia que tanto se busca en Twitter desde hace tiempo.

We've all been there. We write something on Twitter about a controversial topic and hundreds of angry users who don't agree with our opinion are thrown at us. Until now, the only thing you could do with these people was to block their account so they wouldn't bother you again. Now, the service has integrated a new function that allows to hide the answers. Here's how it works:
We access the answer to our tweet
We click on "hide answer"
We accept notices
In this simple way, the answer (in this case harmless) will be completely hidden from you and the rest of the users. Of course, we can access it by clicking again on the tweet options in the section "see hidden answers". Here we can also "stop hiding the answer" with a simple touch.
The idea of this whole system is that users can control the interactions that receive their posts at all times. In many cases, replies can be offensive, and the integration of this functionality can greatly improve that attempt at concord that has long been sought on Twitter.
