Una nueva función que ya habíamos visto antes de Facebook Messenger y en la versión beta de WhatsApp llega a la conocida app de fotos. Instagram comienza a utilizar códigos QR con los que ahora podrás seguir a otras cuentas o permitir que te sigan sin necesidad de buscar el nombre de usuario.
Instagram continua estrenando, recientemente lanzó su herramienta de videos cortos nombrada Reels, con la que podrás crear divertidos clips con un amplio menú de opciones. Ahora la nueva herramienta de códigos QR ya está disponible para todos sin necesidad de actualizar la app de Instagram.
¿Cómo utilizar la función de códigos QR en Instagram?
Es muy sencillo, sólo debes seguir estos pasos:
- Ve a tu perfil de Instagram.
- Pulsa sobre el icono de las tres rayas horizontales en la esquina superior derecha.
- Aquí aparecerá la opción «Código QR».
- Al pulsar sobre esta opción, verás que puedes personalizar tu código QR.
- Desde las opciones «color», «emoticonos» o «selfie» podrás cambiar el color del fondo, usar tu emoji favorito o incluir una selfie.
- Puedes compartir tu código QR pulsando sobre el icono de la flecha ubicado en la parte superior derecha. Al pulsar sobre él mandarás tu tarjeta con un enlace mediante las aplicaciones de mensajería instantánea o redes sociales que elijas.
Para seguir a nuevas cuentas sólo tendrás que abrir de nuevo la opción «Código QR» y pulsar debajo en «Escanear código QR». Se abrirá la cámara de tu celular y podrás apuntar sobre el código QR que deseas agregar y ¡listo! Instagram automáticamente te dirigirá al perfil de esa persona; sin necesidad de haber buscado de forma manual su nombre de usuario.

How do I use the QR Code feature in Instagram?
It's simple - just follow these steps:
Go to your Instagram profile.
Click on the three horizontal stripes icon in the top right corner.
The "QR Code" option will appear here.
By clicking on this option, you will see that you can customize your QR code.
From the "color", "emoticons" or "selfie" options you can change the background color, use your favorite emoji or include a selfie.
You can share your QR code by clicking on the arrow icon at the top right. Clicking on it will send your card with a link through the instant messaging or social network applications you choose.
To follow up on new accounts just open the "QR Code" option again and click on "Scan QR Code" below. Your cell phone camera will open and you can point to the QR code you want to add and you're done! Instagram will automatically direct you to that person's profile; no need to manually look up their username.
