Pero ByteDance no se ha manifestado tan abiertamente sobre el tema. Y puede que por fin nos explicamos el por qué.
Según reporta la agencia informativa Reuters, a partir de fuentes internas enteradas del asunto, la compañía en realidad estaría preparando una estrategia legal.
Todo para llevar ante instancias de ley el conflicto entre ellos y la administración de Trump. De hecho se supone que este lunes 24 de agosto presentarían un desafío legal al decreto del presidente.
En qué consiste la demanda de Tik Tok
Dicho desafío legal de TikTok haría referencia a un decreto anterior que Trump emitió el 6 de agosto, en donde se ordenaba al Secretario de Comercio reportar las operaciones que involucraban a ByteDance.
La idea sería, en teoría, argumentar que esa orden ejecutiva del 6 de agosto, basada en la International Emergency Economic Powers Act privaría a la compañía del proceso subsecuente y anularía todo lo que vino después, por las implicaciones contra ellos.
El misterio es qué tribunal utilizarán para presentar esta respuesta legal. Así como el asunto de las acusaciones de seguridad nacional.
Las siguientes horas al parecer serán determinantes para TikTok, ByteDance y esa cuenta que tienes en la aplicación.

But ByteDance has not been so outspoken on the subject. And maybe we can finally explain why.
According to the Reuters news agency, based on internal sources that are aware of the issue, the company is actually preparing a legal strategy.
All to bring the conflict between them and the Trump administration to the attention of the law. In fact, they are supposed to present a legal challenge to the president's decree this Monday, Aug. 24.
What is Tik Tok's lawsuit about?
TikTok's legal challenge would refer to an earlier order that Trump issued on August 6, mandating the Secretary of Commerce to report transactions involving ByteDance.
The idea would be, in theory, to argue that that August 6 executive order, based on the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, would deprive the company of the subsequent process and void everything that came after, because of the implications against them.
The mystery is which court they will use to present this legal response. As well as the issue of national security charges.
The next few hours will apparently be decisive for TikTok, ByteDance and that account you have on the application.
