- La otra manera es enviar un correo electrónico al personal de asistencia de WhatsApp a support@whatsapp.com que contenga la frase ‘Teléfono robado/extraviado: Por favor, desactiva mi cuenta’. En tu mensaje pon tu número de teléfono en el formato internacional completo.
No es lo mismo desactivar que borrar una cuenta de WhatsApp; una cuenta desactivada tiene 30 días de plazo para activarse antes de borrarse completamente. Tampoco podrás desactivar tu cuenta desde otro dispositivo.

¿Qué ocurre cuando se desactiva una cuenta de WhatsApp?
- La cuenta no se elimina por completo.
- Tus contactos todavía podrán ver tu perfil.
- Tus contactos podrán enviarte mensajes y estos quedarán pendientes durante un período máximo de 30 días.
- Si vuelves a activar tu cuenta antes de que sea borrada, recibirás los mensajes pendientes en tu dispositivo nuevo y permanecerás en tus chats de grupo.
- Si no vuelves a activar tu cuenta en un plazo de 30 días, se eliminará por completo.
