Google Docs llegó a salvarle la vida a muchas personas que cuentas con limitantes como: no tener un ordenador o no contar con el paquete tradicional de Office de Microsoft.
Desde su implementación dentro de las funciones de Google Drive, Google Docs se ha caracterizado por las funciones de documento compartido donde muchas oficinas se reparten las tareas mediante esta herramienta tecnológica.
No obstante, en este texto nos vamos a enfocar en explicar todas las opciones con las que cuenta un usuario dentro de la herramienta al momento de poner una imagen ya sea desde su ordenador o desde su celular.
Funciones de Google Docs con las imágenes desde el ordenador
Insertar imagen
Existen 4 formas de insertar una imagen a un documento dentro de Google Docs y son:
- Arrastrar y soltar
- Copiar Pegar
- Insertar opción
- Añadir imagen como dibujo con anotaciones
Editar imagen
Las opciones que presenta la herramienta de Google son las siguientes:
- En línea: La imagen se añade como un texto, es decir, es parte del texto.
- Ajustar: el texto puede estar a ambos lados de la imagen.
- Romper: El texto está presente encima o debajo de la imagen.
Para recortar una imagen el usuario debe hacer clic con el botón derecho en ella y seleccione la opción Recortar.
Funciones de Google Docs con las imágenes desde un dispositivo móvil
Añadir imágenes
- Paso 1: Abra el documento de Docs y pulse en el icono de edición flotante o haga doble clic en él.
- Paso 2: Pulse en el icono De añadir (+) en la parte superior y seleccione Imagen en el menú. Obtendrá tres opciones: de fotos, cámara y web. Elige el que más te guste.
Editar imágenes
Desde un dispositivo móvil las funciones son más limitadas que desde el ordenador, tal como la opción de recorte que no está permitida.
Para eliminar la imagen se debe pulsar sobre ella y elegir Eliminar.
En iPhone y iPad, al tocar la imagen obtendrá las características de modificación de imagen, como el estilo de ajuste y los bordes en la barra emergente.

Google Docs functions with the images from the computer
Insert image
There are 4 ways to insert an image into a document within Google Docs and they are
Drag and Drop
Copy Paste
Insert option
Add image as annotated drawing
Edit image
The options presented by the Google tool are the following:
Online: The image is added as a text, that is, it is part of the text.
Fit: The text can be on either side of the image.
Break: The text is present above or below the image.
To crop an image the user must right click on it and select the Crop option.
Google Docs functions with images from a mobile device
Adding images
Step 1: Open the Docs document and click on the floating edit icon or double-click on it.
Step 2: Click on the Add (+) icon at the top and select Image from the menu. You will get three options: photo, camera and web. Choose the one you like best.
Edit images
From a mobile device the functions are more limited than from the computer, such as the trimming option which is not allowed.
However, to edit an image on Android, the user must tap once
the three-point icon> Then choose Image Options > Select adjustment style, border color, weight and style.
To delete the image click on it and choose Delete.
On iPhone and iPad, by touching the image you will get the image editing features, such as the adjustment style and the borders in the pop-up bar.
