Desde su lanzamiento, GTA V se ha convertido en uno de los juegos más populares en diferentes plataformas como Steam, PlayStation o Xbox. De hecho, la saga Grand Theft Auto es una de las sagas más importantes en la historia de los videojuegos.
GTA V nos ofrece todo un colosal mundo abierto que explorar, con miles de personajes recorriendo la ciudad de Los Santos, cientos de misiones que completar, y decenas y decenas de fascinantes cinemáticas que nos narran las aventuras de Michael, Franklin y Trevor.
Como el mapa de este sandbox es tan gigantesco, los desarrolladores de Rockstar Games han tenido la oportunidad de incorporar toda clase de secretos ocultos, curiosidades e interesantes referencias a otros títulos y películas. En este artículo hablaremos sobre todo ello, y estamos seguros de que algunos Easter Eggs te van a resultar tan familiares como apasionantes.
1. Las referencias a Carl Johnson
Rockstar ha incluido algunas referencias o Easter Eggs de C.J., el personaje protagonista de GTA: San Andreas, en GTA V. Y algunas de ellas son muy emocionantes.
Hay una misión en la que debes conducir una furgoneta con el personaje de Franklin desde Grove Street y… de repente, te cruzas con tres personas que van en bicicleta. Esas tres personas, curiosamente, visten exactamente igual que C.J., Ryder y Big Smoke. Además, rizando el rizo, en la primera misión de GTA: San Andreas los tres personajes salen de Grove Street en bicicleta.
No sabemos si esas tres personas deberían ser los mismos personajes principales de GTA San Andreas o si simplemente son un guiño de los desarrolladores. Otras teorías apuntan a que podrían ser los hijos de C.J., Big Smoke y Ryder. ¡Quién sabe!
En otros puntos de GTA V también nos encontramos con una misión de Trevor muy similar a una misión en la que hay que seguir un tren con C.J., un código cifrado con números que dicta la frase «All you have to do is follow the damn train, C.J.», un personaje con la misma ropa que C.J. en Grove Street e incluso un tubo de pasta de dientes con la marca «C.J.».
2. Franklin y C.J. son «primos»
Podríamos decir la típica frase «el mundo es un pañuelo», pero probablemente sería más adecuado mencionar que los desarrolladores de Grand Theft Auto son unos románticos empedernidos.
¿Sabías que el actor de doblaje de C.J. es, realmente, el primo del actor de doblaje de Franklin? Es decir, Shawn Fonteno (Franklin) está emparentado con Young Maylay (Carl Johnson). Hay cierto romanticismo en ello, es mágico.
3. GTA V tiene varias referencias a Breaking Bad
En una página web de compraventa de artículos, en GTA V nos encontramos con una caravana similar a la de Breaking Bad cuya descripción indica que «los cocineros farmacéuticos» adoran la libertad de conducir en medio de la nada y practicar su arte.
Otra de las referencias más destacables de GTA V a Breaking Bad nos lleva a una caravana abandonada en el desierto, que referencia a una de las escenas más icónicas de la serie de televisión. En esta misión, un hombre sale de la caravana muy enfadado (Walter White) y empieza un tiroteo.
4. OVNIS
A los desarrolladores de Rockstar Games, como sucede con muchos directores de cine, les encanta introducir escenas de OVNIS en sus videojuegos. Y en GTA V podemos encontrar varios objetos volantes no identificados.
Como podrás ver en el vídeo del canal de YouTube MODELT850 hay diferentes tipos de OVNI sobrevolando múltiples puntos de la ciudad de los Santos.
5. Thelma y Louise
Otro de los Easter Eggs más famosos de GTA V tiene que ver con la popular película Thelma y Louise, en la que las dos protagonistas acaban lanzándose con su coche por un precipicio para evitar ser arrestadas.
En el Monte Chiliad de GTA V podemos asistir a la misma escena de la película, contemplando como dos jóvenes se tiran al vacío en un coche vintage como verás en este vídeo del youtuber DaniRep.

There's a mission where you have to drive a van with Franklin's character from Grove Street and... all of a sudden, you come across three people on a bike. Those three people, oddly enough, dress exactly like C.J., Ryder and Big Smoke. Also, curling up the curl, in the first GTA mission: San Andreas the three characters leave Grove Street on their bikes.
We don't know if those three people should be the same main characters of GTA San Andreas or if they are just a wink from the developers. Other theories point out that they could be C.J.'s sons, Big Smoke and Ryder. Who knows!
At other points in GTA V we also find a mission by Trevor very similar to a mission where you have to follow a train with C.J., a ciphered code with numbers that dictates the phrase "All you have to do is follow the damn train, C.J.", a character wearing the same clothes as C.J. on Grove Street and even a tube of toothpaste marked "C.J.".
2. Franklin and C.J. are "cousins
We could say the typical phrase "the world is a small town", but it would probably be more appropriate to mention that the developers of Grand Theft Auto are hardcore romantics.
Did you know that C.J.'s voice actor is actually the cousin of Franklin's voice actor? That is, Shawn Fonteno (Franklin) is related to Young Maylay (Carl Johnson). There's a certain romanticism about it, it's magical.
3. GTA V has several references to Breaking Bad
On a website for buying and selling items, in GTA V we find a caravan similar to that of Breaking Bad whose description indicates that "the pharmaceutical cooks" love the freedom to drive in the middle of nowhere and practice their art.
Another of GTA V's most notable references to Breaking Bad takes us to an abandoned caravan in the desert, which refers to one of the most iconic scenes in the television series. In this mission, a man comes out of the caravan very angry (Walter White) and starts a gunfight.
4. UFO
Rockstar Games developers, like many filmmakers, love to introduce UFO scenes into their games. And in GTA V we can find several unidentified flying objects.
As you can see in the video of the YouTube channel MODELT850 there are different types of UFOs flying over multiple points of the city of the Saints.
5. Thelma and Louise
Another of the most famous Easter Eggs of GTA V has to do with the popular film Thelma and Louise, in which the two protagonists end up driving their car off a cliff to avoid being arrested.
In the Monte Chiliad of GTA V we can see the same scene from the film, watching two young people throw themselves off in a vintage car as you will see in this video from the youtuber DaniRep.
