Ya es oficial. Apple ha presentado sus nuevos auriculares de estilo “over ear”, es decir, con diademas que se posicionan sobre las orejas, llamados los AirPods Max, y son... tan Apple como podrías imaginar.
Los AirPods Max se suman a los AirPods y los AirPods Pro como la línea de auriculares de Apple, la cual ha ido creciendo desde la llegada del primer modelo inalámbrico en 2016 (y, por supuesto, tras la compra de Beats by Dre en 2014). Esta vez, los Max son el modelo over ear que muchos estaban esperando, con diademas que lucen enormes y, a simple vista, podrían ser lo suficiente cómodas para llevarlas puestas por horas sobre nuestras orejas.
Apple incluso ha integrado la tecnología de la “corona”, esa especie e botón giratorio presente en los Apple Watch, en sus nuevos AirPods Max para controlar sus funciones, la activación o desactivación de la cancelación de ruido, entre otras cosas
Pero, claramente, tenemos que hablar del elefante en la habitación. Lo único grande en los AirPods Max no es solo sus diademas, sino también su precio. Apple ha anunciado que sus nuevos auriculares tienen un precio de 550 dólares, o 630 euros en España y el resto de Europa. Sí, existen auriculares de gama alta y marcas profesionales con precios similares, pero si lo comparamos con los que serían los rivales directos de estos casos, auriculares con cancelación de ruido como los conocidos Sony WH1000XM4 y anteriores, los de Apple cuestan casi el doble.
Por último, el arco tiene en su interior acero inoxidable y flexible cubierto en una banda que permite el flujo de aire para mantener al usuario cómodo, y estará disponible en cinco colores.
Los nuevos AirPods Max llegarán a las tiendas a partir del 15 de diciembre, de nuevo, con un precio de 550 dólares o 630 euros.
