México y Perú, en un año tan atípico por la pandemia, siguen apareciendo como dos de las economías latinoamericanas más rezagadas en cuanto a profesionales con habilidades en tecnología, de acuerdo con el más reciente reporte de Global Skills Index 2020 (GSI), pese a que ya existen esfuerzos en la región por incrementar este nivel.
El Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), por su parte, reveló que regiones en expansión, como Latinoamérica, necesitará para el 2025 cerca de 1,2 millones de desarrolladores para atender los desafíos que ha traído la nueva realidad digital.
Tras tener en cuenta dicho panorama y como parte de su objetivo de cerrar la brecha de talento ‘tech’ en el continente, la academia colombiana de desarrolladores Make It Real tomó la decisión de expandir sus servicios precisamente a México y Perú.

Con más de 600 profesionales formados en Colombia, y cientos de ellos vinculados a empresas como Silicon Valley, Make It Real incursionará en estos nuevos mercados con un portafolio que incluye sus programas ‘Full Stack’ y ‘Data Science’, los cuales van dirigidos a personas que desean convertirse en desarrolladores de software y tener más oportunidades laboralmente en compañías de la industria tecnológica.

Mexico and Peru, in a year so atypical due to the pandemic, continue to appear as two of the Latin American economies that lag behind in terms of professionals with technology skills, according to the most recent report from the Global Skills Index 2020 (GSI), despite that there are already efforts in the region to increase this level.
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), for its part, reveals that expanding regions, such as Latin America, will need about 1.2 million developers by 2025 to meet the challenges brought by the new digital reality.
After taking this scenario into account and as part of its objective of closing the 'tech' talent gap in the continent, the Colombian academy of developers Make It Real made the decision to expand its services precisely to Mexico and Peru.
