Recientemente Lenovo anunció el lanzamiento par a Colombia de su ThinkPad X1 Fold, la primera PC con pantalla plegable en el mundo. Según el fabricante, este dispositivo aparece como una innovación en ingeniería y diseño que ofrece versatilidad y portabilidad.
La marca indicó que la X1 Fold cuenta con un procesador Intel CoreTM con tecnología Intel híbrida que brindaría la potencia requerida para correr las funcionalidades que posee una tablet y un pc portátil. De igual manera, el fabricante indicó que el equipo utiliza tecnología 5G3 para brindar una alta velocidad de conexión a internet.

Este modelo emplea una pantalla OLED plegable con un teclado táctil y con funciones pensadas para usar un lápiz. De igual manera, el equipo ofrece la posibilidad de tener navegación en una sola pantalla o pantalla doble.
En este sentido, el usuario puede emplear el dispositivo como su fuera una tablet o visualizador de contenido, se puede contar con una área de visualización de 13,3" o tener dos pantallas de 9,6". En cuanto a autonomía, el fabricante indicó que el dispositivo trabaja con una batería que daría un día de autonomía.

En cuanto a diseño, la X1 Fold intenta ser un equipo que se adapte a entornos de trabajo híbridos, ya sea teletrabajo o en una oficina, pues su pantalla plegable permite ajustar el pc a las necesidades del usuario.
